Watches in general are sophisticated and delicate objects.

At Mini Kyomo we tried our best to make our products the most resistant possible, but still some care is needed in order to keep them in good shape and working as long as possible.

HOW TO START A CLOCK

To start a watch follow the steps below:

  • Remove the plastic clock stopper placed between the crown and the case (if any)
  • Press in the crown

HOW TO ADJUST TIME

To set or adjust time please follow the steps below:

  • Pull out the crown
  • Adjust the time by turning the crown in the desired direction.
  • Push the crown back in to the normal position (be sure that the crown touches the case in order to guarantee the resistance to water).

 EASY CLICK STRAPS

TO INSTALL AN EASY CLICK STRAP

Align one side of the protruding pin on the strap with the hole on the inside of the lug. Then move the knob inward to depress the pin and hold while aligning the pin with the hole on the other lug. Once aligned, release the knob. Pull on the strap to ensure the pin is secure.

TO REMOVE AN EASY CLICK STRAP

Move the knob inward to depress the pin and pull the strap off.

WASHING INSTRUCTIONS FOR STRAPS

You can remove regular stains from the straps by washing them with a standard (not too aggressive) soap for clothes.

In order to be washed the straps need to be removed from the watch

Remove the spring bars when washing in the washing machine (it is not possible to remove the spring bars in the easy click straps, wash them only by hands).

Straps without Easy Click can be removed and put back in place only with the use of a specific tool and the experience of a watch repair shop. For this reason you need to visit a watch shop, any watch shop can help you to remove the straps. DO NOT try to pull the straps by hand, that will break the spring bar that keeps strap and case attached.

QUARTZ MOVEMENT

All MK watches work thanks to a proven JAPANESE quartz movement. A quartz movement utilises a battery as its primary power source.

CHANGING BATTERY

Because the battery is inserted at the factory its actual service life, once in your possession, may be less than the specified period. Usually a battery lasts around 2 years. When the battery expires, make sure to replace it as soon as possible to prevent any malfunction.

For battery replacement, you need to visit a watch shop.

 WARNING

This product contains a Button Battery that is intended to be replaced by a specialist technician.

Do not attempt to remove or replace the battery yourself. A button battery can cause serious injury if swallowed or placed inside any part of the body

Keep new and used button batteries away from children. Dispose of used button batteries immediately.

If you think button batteries might have been swallowed or placed inside any part of the body, seek immediate medical attention.

WATER RESISTANCE

Every Mini Kyomo watch has a minimum water resistance of 3 ATM.

This detail is always engraved in the back of the case.

3 ATM resistance means that the watch resists ONLY to accidental contact with splashes of water or rain, but it is not designed for wearing while swimming, bathing or diving.

SHOCK RESISTANCE

General activities will not affect your watch, but be careful not to drop or hit it against hard surfaces as this may cause damages.

MAGNETISM AND CHEMICALS

The watch will be adversely affected by strong magnetism. Keep the watch away from close contact with magnetic objects.

Be careful not to expose the watch to solvents (e,g.,alcohol and gasoline), mercury (e.g., from a broken thermometer), cos- metic sprays, detergents, adhesives or paints; case and straps may deteriorate, become discoloured or damaged.
